Sackett Street

Located in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, this project involved a complete reorganization of the kitchen, dining and living spaces on the parlor floor of a classic Brooklyn brownstone.  The custom kitchen millwork reaches into the dining space transforming into a sideboard, offering vital storage and staging.  A stripped down palette focusses on light and texture creating a backdrop for our clients’ painting by local artist Robert Moody.  Wide plank, rough sawn wood floors create a casual feeling and contrast with the smooth finish of the cabinetry.  Punctuating the cabinetry are blackened solid steel hardware designed by Tom Kundig.
